~series synopsis~
A tale of two cities, a tale of two teams. The Chicago Heat are the minor league affiliate of the NHL's Chicago Ice. As if it wasn't hard enough to deal with being 2nd class citizens within your own city and organization, they also have to deal with the independent Detroit Diesels team which for a minor league team has money to burn, and a burning desire to beat Chicago every chance they can get. It's no wonder that the boys need a little diversion every once in a while.
